Is nfuebike.com a Fake Scam or Legit?

It’s probably a scam. The prices are too good to be true and the following clues are suspicious.

I came across an amazing ad:

I clicked on it, because, who doesn’t want a new bike for $50?!

My first thought was “this is too good to be true.” My second thought was to search for signs of a scam. Nope. Nothing was coming up, but there’s just a bunch of bad signals:

The WHOIS record says it was registered on Nov. 4, 2020.

The layout looks a lot like the official Trek site, not an independent bike store.

It uses the domain https://fun.nfuebike.com. What’s up with the “fun” part? That’s weird.

The social media icons link to Trek, not to “Bike World”

The sale ends long before Black Friday.

I’m really not feeling this one. 🙁
